Investing for Doctors is a special interest Facebook group created for doctors by doctors to improve financial education amongst clinicians. We have adopted a concept similar to FOAMed (Free Open Access Medical Education) but for finance.
We have a membership of over 25,000 vetted individuals drawn from the medical and dental profession in Australia and New Zealand. Our goal is to improve the overall financial literacy and individual wellbeing of clinicians.
In 2024, we ran our very first conference entitled “FICO” or Financial Independence, Career Optionality.
Australian Medical Angels is an angel syndicate of doctors drawn from across Australia with an interest in health tech start-ups. With over 1,000 members and specialties covering the entire medical spectrum, we are uniquely placed to invest and guide the future of our profession to the benefit of the profession and community at large.
Backed by LaunchVic, the Victorian government’s startup agency, Australian Medical Angels has a major presence in both New South Wales, Victoria and across Australia.
